Qualcomm has launched the Snapdragon 665, 730 and 730G processors for mid-range devices. They have promised that the processors will arrive in smartphones in 3-4 months time. In this article, we will tell you all there is to know about the New Snapdragon 665, 730 and 730G processors.
Snapdragon 665
The Snapdragon 665 is built on 11nm technology and features the Adreno GPU 610 which is far better than the GPU present in the Snapdragon 660.
For the camera, there’s the Spectra 165 ISP for better scene recognition and HDR. Hybrid autofocus, optical zoom, zero shutter lag video, video style transfer, and triple camera support is also present, assuming the hardware built around the Snapdragon 665 comes so-equipped. Up to 48-megapixel sensors are supported.
As for connectivity, there’s the Snapdragon X12 LTE modem and 802.11ac WiFi. The Snapdragon supports Quick Charge 3.0.
Snapdragon 730
The Snapdragon 730 is an upgrade to the Snapdragon 710 processor. The 4th Gen Multi-core AI Engine promises 2x the power of the predecessor chipset. It is an 8nm based processor. For the first time, Qualcomm has used the Spectra 350 in its chipset.
It can do 4K video recording in portrait mode and support devices with Triple Camera Arrays like telephoto, portrait, and ultra-wide lenses.
In the performance Genre, Qualcomm has used the Kyro 470 and GPU 618 which will certainly boost the performance in terms of Gaming and camera.
Snapdragon 730G
The G added to the Snapdragon 730 makes it the Snapdragon 730G. The processor is a really great one and is almost similar to Snapdragon 730 but has a boosted GPU in comparison to the Snapdragon 730. This tells us how important Gaming has become part of a smartphone. A dedicated processor is made to boost gaming.
It can also be used for recording HD super-slo-mo videos and much more.
