Unless you have been living under the rock you know who the Kardashians are, We have been keeping up with the Kardashians for over fifteen years now. Everything that they do or don’t, wear or don’t wear is news. Who the Kardashians is a question that has a very ironical answer. The Kardashians are basically famous for being famous. They, however, have other businesses aside from their hit reality show that follows the lives of the large brood. To know who the Kardashians are you need to know about each and every member of the large confusing family.

So here is a list of the brood to know who the Kardashians are:

Kris Jenner- She is the matriarch of the family and the famous “momager”. The self-styled title was due to the fact that she manages all of her kids in their celebrity endeavours whatever they are. The woman is notorious for the questionable manner in which she raised her children and her unconventional love life. She is, however, rich and worth millions.
Kaitlyn Jenner- She was formerly Bruce Jenner, the Olympic gold medalist. She underwent her transformation after the separation and divorce from then-wife Kris Jenner. Like Bruce, he was the loving and hands-on father to both his biological and stepchildren.
Kim Kardashian- Arguably the most famous Kardashian whose leaked sex tape propelled her family to fifteen minutes of fame which they managed to extend for years. She is the daughter of Kris from her first marriage to Rob Kardashian. After her sex tape, she posed naked in various magazines most notably Playboy and Paper. She is also known for her infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries and other relationships that were well documented on the reality show. She is currently married to rapper Kanye West and is a mother of three. Still, no one knows why exactly she is famous and popular. She does own several businesses along with her biological sisters as well as solely.
Kourtney Kardashian- The eldest child of Kris from her first marriage, Kourtney is an integral part of the show that documented her relationship with her now ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Together the couple had three children before they finally split. A lot of people were a fan of this couple as well as of Scott Disick and his wit.
Khloe Kardashian- The youngest daughter of Kris from her first marriage is known for her sass and miraculous transformation into a hot bod. She is also known for her relationship with two very prominent sportspersons. She has a daughter.
Rob Kardashian- The only son of Kris and Robert Kardashian Rob can be called the black sheep of the family. He dated a Cheetah girl then at some point in the show started gaining a lot of weight. He then got engaged to Blac Chyna with whom his family had complicated relative to say the least. They had a daughter then broke off their engagement. Rob then posted intimate pictures of her on twitter and has been lying low ever since. Oh! He tried something with a socks line.
Kendall Jenner- The elder daughter of Kris and Kaitlyn is probably the only one in the family who actually does something. She is a supermodel. She does not rely solely on the reality show and the selling of various products based on fame. She does own a few businesses that work on her fame though.
Kylie Jenner- oh where do we even start with the youngest of the brood! She started dating an adult rapper while still a minor. Got lip injections and several other beauty enhancement surgeries and lied through her teeth about all of them. Finally was forced to admit the truth at least about her lip filters. She then launched a line of cosmetics that made her insanely rich and then got pregnant while essentially a teenager. She might be on her second pregnancy if rumours are to be believed.

So that was gist of basically who the Kardashians are. To explain why they are a phenomenon is much more of a difficult task. Mostly because nobody really knows.
