Over the weekend, the Pubg Mobile Club Open Finals happened in which 16 teams participated. One of them was Team Soul from India. The Top 16 Teams from all over the world competed against each other for the title. RRQ Athena, the winner of PMSC 2018 were also present. They were amongst the favorite to win the Pubg Mobile Club Open Finals.
However, things changed drastically for RRQ when one member of TOP esports did a 1v4 against RRQ’s whole squad. The fact to note here is that almost every member of RRQ has a KD Ratio of over 30 which means TOP esports outdid them and proved their worth.
At the end of Day 3, it was Top esports who won the title and Rank 1st in PMCO 2019 with 344 points. At second position stood team XQF with 324 and at 3rd were Elite eSports. RRQ sadly stood at 4th position.
It was also a good experience for Team Soul who got a chicken dinner on 2nd day in Erangel. The special thing is it came near Georgopol which is like their 2nd home. Soul Mortal/ Naman Mathur was voted as the fan-favorite player of the tournament.
He got a rare Yellow Jacket which is officially made by Tencent. In the ceremony held after the tournament, Team TES were given a total of $1,80,000 as a reward for their excellent performance. Team XQF got $90,000 prize money while Team Elite got prize money of $45,000. The prize money which Team TES have got converts to be about close to Rs 2 crore.
This is certainly a massive earning from just a game. Pubg mobile thus is not just a game anymore. It has become a tradition in many countries especially in India. Let’s hope that this game gives the gaming community a boost which it very necessarily deserves.
