Pubg Mobile Effect: Son kills own father brutally for refusing internet connection

Pubg Mobile has been the #1 game on Google Play Store for a long time. It was the first game to have been downloaded 100 million times in such a short period. There have been several positive effects of the game with new YouTubers, streamers and a rise in the Indian Gaming Community. However, the game has also seen some really worst cases which have led to controversies. One such bad case has been recently reported. In this article, we will tell you about the Pubg Mobile Effect and how it has led to even murder.

A 25-year-old guy Raghuveer Kumar from Karnataka was taken into custody for killing his father brutally. He slit his father’s throat and chopped his legs and arms. Why he did so? His father, a 65-year-old retired police officer got sick of his child’s addiction to the game and had fights with him over the topic. The fights got so bad that his father took his device and cut the internet connection.

In a fit of rage, Raghuveer shut his mother in a room and started beating his father and killed him. He was soon taken into custody and the police are currently questioning him. He has been identified as mentally unstable due to the game dealing huge damage on his mind.

Can a game lead to Mental Damage?

Recently this year, WHO added Gaming Addiction as a disease. They said that it had to diagnosed with Therapy sessions. Our mobile devices release radiation which can damage our brain cells. Thus, it might be possible that a game and one such as Pubg Mobile can cause mental problems. However, this has not been proved scientifically. It can be said to be a hoax.
