Jimmy “Mr Beast” Donaldson has made a name for himself on you tube by giving away more than a million dollars to strangers and friends in bouts of random donations. The majority of Donaldson’s 1$ donations came from brands deals, which many fans may have guessed, but he also relies on going viral and google ad sense for his earnings. he thinks that the money he is donating is a kind of investment for which he gets so many views that the money remakes itself, he gets more famous, earns more money and donates more. Thus, this is an on-going process.
Mr. Beast recently became much more famous when he promoted Pewdiepie and didn’t want him get beaten by T-Series in the most subscribed you tube channel.
In his video Donaldson has explained that after giving away $10,000 to a homeless man for his first major sponsored act of philanthropy, he realized he liked helping people, so he continued doing it. But he also realized something else: the bigger his giveaways became , the more extravagant his method of delivering donations seemed, the faster his channel grew. Donaldson went from having a relatively small channel to a one having more than 5 million subscribers and currently he has more than 14 million subscribers on you tube.
His videos regularly boasts more than 10 million views and his videos are such which do not get DE-monetized by you tube thus he gets a lot of sponsorship from brand deals. In his words ” If you want the special secret, if you want to know where it all came from- my parents aren’t that rich, I’m only 20 years old, every dollar I’ve ever made came from you tube, and you tube just pays better than you think,” Donaldson said.
