(1) William Regal
The first name is William Regal. William was once considered one of the toughest wrestlers in the world. However, one flight changed it all. The story about why he went to jail is somewhat funny. On a flight, William drank a lot of alcohol and went to urinate. He felt a tap from a stewardess who told him that his gate was not properly closed. William turned around to look at her but ended up urinating at her. He was taken to prison upon landing.
(2) Matt Hardy
One-half of the hardy brothers and possibly the funnier one too, Matt Hardy had some real psychotic issues. He used to drink a lot, take drugs and used to beat his wife. He was sent to jail on charges of domestic violence. Before returning to WWE, he spent time in rehab and got well.
(3) The Big Show
Big Show has been a part of two controversies which led his way to prison. In 1998, he was in a bar when a man began to abuse him and said some really bad thing about him. When Big Show had enough of that man, he knocked the guy out with a single punch. The video of the incident led to him easily getting out of jail. However, the second incident isn’t very amusing. He was sued by a hotel employee for showing her his ‘Big Show’. When no evidence could be shown against him, he got free.
(4) Ric Flair
Ric Flair is probably one of the biggest names in WWE. He has been part of several controversies which paved his way to jail. Some of the most famous ones are: He choked a motorist almost to death and broke the guys’ car windows. He also exposed himself to a stewardess. However, when no evidence could be shown against him he got out of jail.
(5) Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar was charged with taking in steroids to get to the form he is in currently. However, after a few days, it came out that he had been taking in vitamins and all the allegations against him were false.
