Lord Krishna told Arjuna that everybody should fight against the evil for the sake of truth. Not to mention, Gandhi’s “Non-Violence” policy was inspired by none other than Bhagavat Gita. The war between Pandavas and Kauravas was necessary because of the jealousy and cheat Duryodhana was raising against the Pandavas.
(3) Only Intellectuals can read Bhagavat Gita
It is the most popular myth about Bhagavat Gita: that only intellectuals can read it. You don’t need a high I.Q. to read Bhagavat Gita. You only need a Hindi translation of the book and some time to read it properly and try to understand the essence of it. It is important to read the book with all due respect and belief.
(4) Only a matter of belief
Gita is not just only a matter of belief but also has several practical applications too. It removes several illusions about life and provides us with knowledge and belief required for a successful life. In other words, reading Bhagavat Gita can provide you with the belief of being successful. It will provide you with the motivation to do the things required to be successful.
