Rana Daggubati is a man who is omnipresent when it comes to movie making. His clan is the epitome of movie aficionados who have blurred the lines of cultural gaps and have killed xenophobia in the film-making business of India.
In one of his interviews by a top media channel, this multi-tasking man has talked about the film industry which covered the entire area of north and south. Let us give you a keeper from that very interview.
What Does the Indian Film Industry Need? Rana Daggubati Unveils Here
He talked about why and how movie-makers should bring the top tech people in this industry. According to his views, folks who are involved in movie-making are not completely armed with technical requirements that a movie needs. Despite this, they are the ones who have been working in the VFX and Special Affects areas of movie-making. This is the reason that Hollywood has ‘Avataar’ and we do not.
Rana Daggubati especially underlined the name ‘Bangalore’. which of course is the front and center when it comes to tech in India. On the same subject, the actor went on to say said that people from Bangalore should be brought in the movie-making business. This is because the tech people there like sound engineers, designers, etc are the masters of their crafts. At present, the glitch in the Indian film industry is that the jack of all trades are involved in the film-making business. This is why we still have the tacky VFX.
This is something which should definitely be an eye-opener to the big-guns of the entertainment industry. Instead of throwing a party for a film success for crossing 100 crores, there should be experts involved in the departments of film-making . This is simply because their expertise is fully capable of bringing the epic works in our industry, just like Hollywood does.
