Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google doesn’t just earn a good name but also cash amounts in huge. He earns not just inc ash but also in shares which are given to him as part of an employee program. Sundar Pichai has now become the highest earning South Indian. He beat not just an individual but a temple. Tirupati Temple, one of the most famous of temples which reportedly attracts more than Rs 3 Crore in offerings. Recently, the temple has seen a fall in its donations due to the restricted entry of pilgrims.
When we tell you how much Sundar Pichai earned in FY2019, you will be shocked. He has earned a total of Rs 1,470 in the fiscal year 2019. This makes it a daily average of Rs 4.07 crores beating Tirupati Balaji by a few crores. Tirupati Balaji is amongst one of the highest earning temples all over the world.
Since hearing upon the fact that their earnings might be less than that of Sundar Pichai, the association members of the temple might take several steps to beat Sundar Pichai. To beat him, they might take in several steps such as removing the restriction on temple entry, accepting credit and debit cards and launching a mobile wallet to increase their revenue.
A priest of Tirupati Temple went as far as to comment on this news:
“What does he think of himself? He cannot beat us and become south India’s biggest treasure. Last month the Padmanabhaswamy temple tried beating us, now look at those losers! This Pichai will go down the drain. I will ask our devotees to boycott Google.” said the priest.
Well, it seems like that priest is taking the matter really seriously. Sundar Pichai becoming highest earning South Indian doesn’t change the fact that Tirupati Temple earns about 3 crores every day. That is still a really big amount. Sundar Pichai is yet to make any statements about this news.
