WWE Smackdown Live this week was a really great show this week. We saw new partnerships developing and new rivalries also forming. We also witnessed a new champion being crowned. So let’s directly go to what happened!
(1) Samoa Joe wins U.S. Title
This week too R Truth held the U.S. Title Open Match in which Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio and Cien Almas participated in a fatal 4 way match. In the end it was won by Samoa Joe and R Truth lost the match ans title.
With R Truth always mentioning about his inspiration John Cena, WWE might be hinting at a Samoa Joe Vs John Cena match at WWE Wrestle Mania.
(2) Becky Lynch talks to Charlotte
It was Charlotte who invited Becky Lynch for a friendly talk. The talk didn’t went well as Charlotte attacked an injured Lynch who fought back and put her in an arm lock finisher till WWE official came and pulled them apart.
(3) Miz defeated Jey Uso
The Miz defeated Jey Uso before his and Shane’s tag team championship battle at fastlane against Usos. It is rumored that Usos will defeat them and it will be The Miz Vs Shane at Wrestle Mania.
(4) Kevin Owens defeated Erick Rowan by disqualification
While it looked like Erick was losing and Kevin had beat up Bryan, Bryan interrupted and started hitting Kevin Owens, thus disqualiying Rowan and resulting in Kevin winning the match.
While Rowan and Bryan were beating up Kevin Mustafa Ali came and protected him. We saw Kevin Owens giving yet another stunner to Bryan. If he is able to give one to Bryan at Fastlane then he will become the new WWE Champion.
(5)Ricochet and Aleistar Black defeated The Bar
It was a really great but small match. Both Ricochet and Black won easily and thus getting stronger day by day in the Smackdown Roster’s Tag Team Championship division.
