There are many students who have had decided from their childhood that they want to become this and that but there also are students who even at the end of Class 12th have not yet decided what next to do and what are my options. If you are one of them then this blog is for you. I too had not much clue as to what to do next. Here are some of the answers to What next to do after 12th Class.
(1) Research
After 12th Class exams you have enough time that you can research upon various courses and see what is best as per your choice. It doesn’t matter which stream you belong to: Science or Commerce. You can do anything except B. TECH if you are from Commerce. Everyone has either a computer or a mobile device with a working Internet. Use it for a good purpose. See what subjects interest you and which courses offer those subjects. There are some Commerce students who think that doing B. Com Honors is the best option. There are much more options than that. For example: BMS(Bachelor of Management Studies) which is a new course you can apply in Delhi University. It has a really great scope later.
(2) See What Interests You
Just doing something because your parents want you to do is not the way to go. If you are interested in sports and take B. Com Hons you are wasting your talent and making yourself unhappy. Find what interests you and research about it. There is no subject which doesn’t have a course in it. You can do a photography course, attend Cricket Academy, VFX Learning and one sector which is really famous nowadays i. e. Information Technology. You can learn languages like Java, C, C++, Python etc which will help you in getting a Job which will pay you a lot. Although coding is a difficult thing to do and requires a lot of Problem Solving. If you find yourself not interested in the topic then move as far away as you can from it.
(3) Which College to choose
In life you have to take risks to achieve what you want to do! If you want to do something and become a big man you have to start really early and do a lot of hard work. It is really important that you take the correct college or course which will help you achieve your goal. See which colleges offer you the course you want to do. If you are of Science stream you must have better knowledge about the colleges which offer you courses like B. TECH and Computer Science. If you too are of an opinion that Delhi University is the best, then you might be wrong. There are also colleges like Amity, IP University in which many of my friends are studying and are satisfied with the studies available there.
