Reliance Jio GigaFiber to finally Launch on 12th August

The Reliance Jio GigaFiber has been in news since last year but no official news came out about its launch. Now, as per some hints and rumors, Reliance might be going to launch the GigaFiber on 12th August. Stay with us and we will tell you all the details about the launch.

As per The Hindu, Reliance is all set to make an official announcement about Jio GigaFiber in its upcoming annual general meeting. While not many details are known about Reliance Jio GigaFiber, it is set to revolutionize the broadband sector. 3 years earlier we saw Jio revolutionize the telephone industry. Now, it might be time for the broadband sector.

Many YouTubers have beforehand got the GigaFiber box and run its services. As per them, the speed is really fast and while playing games, you can get pings as low as 10 ms. Jio has already announced that a 1 GBPS plan will launch along with the Jio GigaFiber.

It is highly unlikely that there will be free services considering that the installation charges are really high. As per the YouTubers, Jio will charge 4500 as a security amount for every connection. It will bring along with it, 1100 Gb of 50 Mbps data per month.

Coming to the features of Reliance Jio GigaFiber, it provides high-speed internet, you can use it as a set-top box as well as for calling purposes. There will be a collective plan for all these. Reports suggest that the 50 Mbps plan might come at a cost of rs 600 while the 100 Mbps connection will cost Rs 1000.

The excitement and expectation level is really high from the Reliance Jio GigaFiber. The competition between Jio and other brands will be very close as other brands like Quadplay and Den offer speeds of 50 Mbps at just Rs 600. Will Jio be able to compete with that?
