Specifications
The Redmi 7 comes with a 6.26 inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The device is powered by Snapdragon 632 processor which is the latest additions in the Qualcomm Snapdragon Series. It runs in Android Pie 9.0 out of the box.
It comes in 3 Ram variants: 2Gb + 16Gb, 3Gb + 32Gb and 4Gb + 64Gb. The device features a rear mounted fingerprint scanner as well as front face unlock. In the camera department it has dual rear cameras of 12+2 Megapixels and a front facing camera of 8 Megapixels.
The device has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 installed in it. It has 4000 Mah battery which can be charged with a standard 10W charger.
Price
As far as the price is concerned, Xiaomi have yet again done a wonderful job. The Redmi 7 base variant costs in Indian Rupees Rs6,999 while the 3Gb variant costs Rs7,999 and the 4Gb variant costs Rs 9,999.
It comes off that Redmi is taking the war to Realme to show them who is the real budget smartphone king. The benefit of such competition is going to be to people who want good performing smartphones at a less price.

Did you know that Snapdragon 632 supports HD graphics in Pubg. It can be said to be a strong processor and if you want to use it for slight gaming and regular uses the device is really good.
Its ononly competition is Zenfone Max M2 which is priced at Rs 8,999 for its base variant. It also has the snapdragon 632 processor. In price war Xiaomi will defeat the Asus Zenfone Max M2 but still both phones are a great choice to choose from.
Overall, the Redmi 7 absolutely does not disappoint.
