The fiction actor Rick Dolton is most of the time accompanied by his stuntman named Cliff Booth. This role is portrayed with finesse by Brad Pitt. These two people live their lives in films and simultaneously their real-lives unfolds. Everything runs smoothly with fun until murders start taking place.

A series of murders take place in the flick Once Upon A Time In Hollywood which is based on the real-life event of Sharon Tate’s murder along with her nine friends. This part is played by actress Margot Robbie. Quentin Tarantino has promised this story viewers in the trailer itself. If the audience already know what is going to happen in the movie from the trailer itself, then a movie should get to the point faster. But even after this, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood did not do this.

There is no doubt that Tarantino could have simply made this film with the best talents, lights and cameras. But he took a different turn and showed how the life of Hollywood was before and after the murder happened. The movie is a mixture of different patterns of storytelling in the most indulgent manner. Tarantino has made this movie about movies that gave viewers an insight into the lives of stars. This included the glamour and also the dark side of the movie world. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is an ode to cinema.

Undoubtedly, the director is trying to make the audience believe Shakespeare’s quote ”All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players” and that too without or with cameras. Tarantino has used different methods to display the passage of time to the viewers and this is one of the most attractive things that he has done to make the movie gripping. Sometimes it is a voice-over other times texts showing the year.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood gave the best scenes to Leonardo DiCaprio. He displayed the sensitive masculinity which is not shown on big screen usually. Another interesting part in the flick is that some big names and actors are not given a slow-motion introduction to the viewers. These are the surprises that the director has kept in the movie for the audience to find. This is how the movie has made the audience glued to their seats and the climax does not disappoint. This is a must watch film!
