Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2: Better than Season 1?

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2 was one of the most anticipated seasons because of the level of cliff-hanger we were left at in the first season’s end. The series is one of the most watched Netflix Series. It all began when Sabrina turned 16 and was forced to sign her name in the Dark Lord’s (Lucifer Morningstar) Book. In this post, we will be discussing season 2 of the series and tell if it is better than Season 1.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2

If in last season we saw the chemistry between Sabrina and Harvey to be awesome, then in this season the chemistry between Sabrina and Nicholas is much better. It also adds better to the storyline as Nicholas is a warlock and Sabrina, a witch. The way in which the character development takes place is brilliant and Game of Thrones creators D&D should learn from them on how to develop their characters. The stakes have never been higher with the Dark Lord planning to take over the world by opening the Gates of Hell.

The storyline is engaging and we get some answers to all the questions which were left hanging around at the end of season 1. First of all, we get to know that Mrs. Wardwell is none other than Lilith, the first women on Earth. We see a good side of her by the end of the series. Season 2 brings the war directly with the Dark Lord who assumes his original character like that when he was thrown out of heaven.

The season is divided into 9 episodes of 1 hour each and tells the story masteringly. Without a doubt, it can be said that Season 2 of the series was even better than the Season 1. Kiernan Shipke just rocks the role of Sabrina Spellman. In the end, we see Dark Lord being defeated and getting trapped in the body of Nicholas Scratch. Lilith then goes on to become the queen of hell and takes the Dark Lord’s body back to hell. In the end, we see Sabrina planning along with her mortal friends on bringing Nicholas, her boyfriend, back from hell which will be the story of the Season 3.
