Hardik Pandya and K.L. Rahul made some unforgettable comments about women on Karan Johar’s show-Koffee with Karan. After that incident, the one person from whom we had not heard a thing from was Karan Johar. Now, Karan Johar has finally come out and has opened up about the controversy that started on his show.
Karan Johar finally opens up for the first time since the Hardik Pandya,K.L. Rahul incident
This is what he said “I have to say that I feel very responsible because it was my show, it was my platform. I invited them as guests and so the ramifications and repercussion of the show are my responsibility. I have had so many so many sleepless nights just wondering about how I can undo this damage, who is gonna listen to me. It’s now gone into a zone which is beyond my control.”
Karan Added “I have to say and I don’t defend myself when I say this. I have to say that the questions that I asked the two boys are the questions I ask everyone including women. Deepika (Padukone) and Alia (Bhatt) were on the show, I asked them those questions. I have no control about the answers that comes my way.”
As per Karan Johar, none of the other cast members felt that what he had asked was wrong. He said that he had not control on what the other party says upon his questions. He had asked the same set of questions from Deepika and Alia too as he said above. Well, we certainly have to accept that very adult talk happens on Koffee with Karan and if someone like Hardik Pandya and K.L. Rahul said something bad it might even be due to them being nervous and not knowing the repercussions of what it would cause.
The filmmaker says that he wants to save the boys from further exploitation but things have gone out of his control. Well let’s see what happens further. The issue is still hot and needs time to cool down. Hardik Pandya and K.l. Rahul were banned from playing against Australia and have since not came out in the media.
