Black Panther creates History: Gets nominated for best picture in Oscars!

Black Panther released in the first quarter of 2018 was an immensely hit movie. The movie tells the story of M. baku who has to take over the throne after the death of his father in the bomb blast. The movie created a lot of buzz and earned more than 1.3 billion dollars at the box office. Black Panther has created a history. It has been nominated for the oscars foscars for being the best picture.

The film scored six other nominations for Costume Design, Original Score, Production Design, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Orignal Song as well. However, director Ryan Coogler did not make it into the slate of directing nominees.

The movie was the first disney movie to have a black cast. The Cast members involves were Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B Jordon, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Basset, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman, is already a winner at the box office. Taking up the number 2 spot at the Worldwide Box Office in 2018 list, Black Panther raked in $1,346.9 billion last year.

Black Panther has alreasy garnered 4 awarss including the best movie in MTV Awards. Michael B Jordan received the award of being the best villain. The movie also went on to score the best ratings ever for a superhero movie. It got 97% ratings on Rotten Tomato. It was the last movie to be released before Infinity War.

In Black Panther, T’Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father’s death, but his sovereignty is challenged by an adversary who plans to abandon the country’s isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.
