India Vs Australia 1st Test : India were to bat first and they scored a total of 250 runs in which Cheteshwar Pujara scored 123 runs. None other batsmen scored even a 50. It was not a good batting performance.
Australia came down to bat and they fell prey to the Indian pacers. Bumrah took 3 wickets while Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami took 2 each. Ashwin took 3 wickets in the innings.
From the Australian side too, only one batsmen named Travis Head was able to score more than 50. He scored 72 runs before getting out. Australia made 235 runs, staying 15 less than India.
The 2nd innings India Vs Australia 1st Test came with a good opening from Rahul and Vijay. Then Cheteshwar Pujara came and sleighted the innings. Kohli scored 34, Rahane scored 70 while Pujara scored 71 and Rishab Pant scored 28. India scored 307 in their 2nd innings giving a target of 322 to Australia.
Australia were 4 down at a score of 104. Except for Shawn Marsh, nobody was able to score much. He scored 60 runs. Australia lost by a small margin of 31 runs. It was a really close encounter between both the sides but it was India who stole the victory.
