India Vs Australia 1st ODI can be said to be a thriller of a match. It started with Australia setting up a target for India. Maxwell again looked in good form throughout the match. First, lets see the squads of both teams.

Australia batting first didn’t get a good start. Finch suffering from poor form got out for a duck while Khawaja scored 50 runs. Maxwell scored 40 while Stoinis scored 37 runs. Turner hit 21 and carey hit 36.
From the Indian bowling side, it was Shami who gave India the breakthrough needed at the right time. He took 2 wickets while Kuldeep and Bumrah also got 2 out. Jadhav bowled well and got 1 wicket out of his 7 overs. Jadeja didn’t take a wicket but kept the batsmen under pressure. He gave just 33 runs in his 10 overs.
India also didn’t get a really good start. Dhawan was caught on the first ball he faced. After that Kohli and Dhawan built up the innings. Rohit hit 37 while Kohli scored 44 but neither of them could carry on their innings due to high class bowling from Zampa and Coulter Nile.
Rayudu also lost his wicket at just 13 runs. It was then that India were 99-4 and needed a partnership. Dhoni and Jadhav gave them one. They scored an unbeaten partnership of over 140 runs and took India to victory.
In this Jadhav scored 81 while Dhoni scored 59 runs. Both scored runs in quicks successions in which there was an over by Coulter Nile in which Dhoni hit a four and a six each.
The match was easily won by India with 10 balls remaining but till the time India crossed 200 runs the match had become pretty intense and could have had gone anywhere.
Thus, India won the India Vs Australia 1st ODI. Lets hope they also win the other remaining ones too.
