Graphene is extremely lightweight and thin. It does not take a huge place to fit. Thus, smartphone manufacturers will have a lot of space left for other equipment to place in the device. It is also really safer than Lithium batteries and won’t require such high protection like Lithium batteries do.
Cons of Graphene Batteries
Till now we have discussed the advantages of Graphene batteries. Now, let’s discuss its shortcomings. Each and everything with advantage also has a shortcoming. In the case of Graphene, it is the high cost of production of such batteries. There is no permanent technique for the production of graphene. That is why it has not been used for producing batteries until now.
However, in the upcoming years, we will definitely see Graphene battery run smartphones. One of the earliest producers of such smartphones is going to be Samsung.
