Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh finally got hitched today. They are currently the most sought-after couple of Bollywood. They tied the knot at Lake Como in Italy. It all happened in traditional Konkani style wedding in the presence of their family and close friends.
Reports say that the rituals of the wedding took place early in the morning at 7 am. The timing was set according to the muhurat. Fans are yet to get a glimpse of their favourite couple in their wedding attires due to a no-picture policy at their wedding. But they are super excited with all the updates about the wedding pouring in.
Many Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh fan clubs are also celebrating the wedding of the Bollywood couple in their own way. Their fan pages have been renamed to Ladkiwale and Ladkewale, respectively. They have been constantly posting their own photo edits. Many of them have posted pictures of henna tattoos saying ‘DeepVeer’. In their own unique ways, fans are trying to become a part of the grand wedding that is taking place in Italy.
Deepika and Ranveer got married according to Konkani tradition today. Tomorrow, they will be repeating their wedding vows in Sindhi style. Rumours are going around that the couple will throw two separate wedding receptions – one in Bengaluru on 21st November for their friends and family and one in Mumbai on 28th November for their Bollywood counterparts.
According to reports, Ranveer had shot a special video for Deepika. It was made up of the many candid moments that the couple had spent together. Deepika opted for a white gown for the engagement while Ranveer chose a black tuxedo.
