Specifications

The device has a 5.71-inch HD+ display with a dewdrop notch. It comes with the quad-core processor Mediatek Helio A22. It runs on Android 9 Pie. The device comes in two Ram variants: 2 Gb Ram + 16 Gb storage and 3 Gb Ram + 32 Gb storage. It comes with dual 4G support and has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for protection. It comes in two funky colors: Cherry Black and Ocean Blue.

In the camera department, the device has a single rear camera of 13 M.P. which is completely A.I. based and a front facing camera of 8 M.P. The device also has USB OTG support, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, GPS, gravity sensor, light sensor and proximity sensor. Running the device is a 3000 Mah battery which can be charged using a standard charger.

The pricing of the device is as follows:

3 Gb / 32 Gb = 6,499

The pricing of the device is really aggressive and really low for a just-launched device. One thing you should know is that take the 3 Gb Ram variant if you want to purchase it because, at just an increased price of 500, you get additional features like 1 Gb Ram and 16 Gb storage.

Opinion

Coolpad is known for launching aggressively priced devices. The Coolpad Cool 3 Plus is a great device with only con as the quad-core processor which is old picking considering it is 2019. Realme C2 which lacks a fingerprint sensor has an octa-core processor Helio P22 at the same price. Also, Coolpad users complain of late updates and sometimes no updates are provided. If Coolpad at least improves the quality of their updates, the device certainly is a good budget offering.
