The Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 has been launched. Episode 2 is definitely better than the first one and we can definitely say that it is the last episode we see without any fight in it. There was not even one single fighting scene but the episode features so great a scenes which make it an iconic one. So, let’s begin with the review of the episode.
Review
The episode begins with Sir Jaime Lannister being brought up against Danny and Sansa Stark. It seems that Daenerys has forgotten what she did with Samwell’s father and brother. She accused him of her father’s murder even after knowing what an animal he was. It seems that her becoming the villain of the series might come into action. She and her thirst of the 7 Kingdoms are gonna cause a lot of problems which will definitely affect everyone.
Brienne of Tarth supports Sir Jaime and he is added in the fight against the White Walkers. Tormund provides an excellent comic relief throughout the episode and the scene in which he says that he suckled on a Giant’s breast for 3 months is really hilarious.
It is also the episode in which Sir Jaime makes Brienne of Tarth a Knight. She will now be known as the Knight of the Seven Kingdom. Also, we see the reunion of Tormund and his crew with Jon Snow. In this episode, everyone thinks that they are going to definitely die but will that actually happen.
Is there no way of survival? Tyrion believes that they can actually beat the Night King. Well, we’ll see as to that in the coming episodes.
We also see a romance bubbling between Gendry and Arya. They have taken the relationship to the next level and it seems a little weird seeing Arya, who was a kid at the beginning of the series in such a way, now fully grown as women.
Well, this episode marks as the last one without any action as the upcoming episode’s trailer shows the evident oncoming of the night King and the terror that he will bring with it.
