In the launch event held on 22nd of April at SRCC college, Delhi University, Realme launched 2 devices. The first one was planned while the second one came as a surprise. It is the 2nd mobile of its series and it’s named as the Realme C2. In this article, we will be telling you all about the specs of the device, its price, and availability.
Specifications
Realme C2 comes with a 6.10-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The device comes with Android 9.0 Pie and Color Os 6.0. It features the Octa-Core processor Mediatek Helio P22 processor. The device comes in two Ram variants: 2 Gb + 16 Gb and 3 Gb + 32 Gb.
This time Realme has provided a fingerprint sensor as well in the device which is an upgrade. In the camera department, it has dual rear cameras of 13+2 MP and a front-facing camera of 8 MP which is an upgrade to its previous version. It also comes with a face unlock sensor.
The device comes with a 4000 Mah battery which is small considering that provided in Realme C1.
Price
The pricing of the Realme C2 is similar to what was the price of Realme C1 when it got launched. It is priced at Rs 5,999 for the base variant while it costs Rs 7,999 for the 3 Gb + 32 Gb variant. The device is really aggressively priced and is also well featured except for the Mediatek Helio P22 processor.
Availability
The device will be available starting 15th March only on Flipkart.
Opinion
The Realme C1 will definitely provide a tough competition to its competitors namely Redmi 6 and other devices. Also, such a phone launching at this price can only happen with Realme. We haven’t seen such a phone since the arrival of the Redmi 5A.
