Pubg Mobile is a game which causes addiction to it and this results in side-effects like children not studying properly for their exams. Due to this reason and seeing the bad effect the game is having on children, Pubg Mobile has been banned in Gujarat. Earlier there were requests for its ban and it seems now that the ban is final.
Bad news for Pubg Mobile
The Gujarat government Tuesday issued a circular asking district authorities to ensure a ban on the online multiplayer game Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, popularly called PUBG. The state primary education department’s circular was issued after a recommendation by the Gujarat State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, said officials. The notification comes just days after a students body in Jammu and Kashmir had sought a ban of PUBG Mobile in the state, blaming it for poor examination results.
There is no doubt when one says Pubg is an addictive game. The officials did not reveal whether the ban was on Mobile or Pubg Pc but it seems like Pubg Pc is safe whereas Pubg Mobile is banned.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has recommended a ban on the game across the country, said Jagruti Pandya, chairperson of the Gujarat child rights body. While this move is clearly bad, noone can say anything.
Why the ban is a bad move?
Currently, there are people who are making a living out of streaming Pubg Mobile. If it gets ban overall the country, innumerable people will get out of employment. Pubg runs on a big scale and even has opened offices in India. There had been news about there being a server getting installed in Mumbai.
Addiction in children needs to be controlled by the parents and the children themselves. There is no need of playing the game all day neither does Pubg Mobile creators say to play it all day.
There have been many games which were addictive like Clash of Clans. These were not banned! Why only Pubg Mobile?
