Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Y3 smartphone in India and the device comes with some really great specifications. So, without further delay let’s get to know what features the new smartphone in the ‘Y’ Series has.
Specifications
The Redmi Y3 comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a dot notch. It comes with the latest Android pie 9.0 and MIUI 10 famous for its fluidity. The device is powered by the octa-core processor Snapdragon 632. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a really cool design on its back panel and comes in two Ram variants: 3 / 32 and 4 / 64
It has a fingerprint as well as front face unlock feature. Coming to the camera department the device has a 32 Megapixel Selfie camera making it the only device in its price range with such feature. It has a 12 + 2 Megapixel dual rear camera but cannot be considered as the best in the market as Realme 3 has better rear cameras than it.
It has a 4000 Mah battery which is an upgrade to its predecessor which had a battery of just 3080 Mah.
Price
The device is priced at Rs 9,999 for its base variant while the 4 Gb variant is priced at Rs 11,999. While the device does have a really great camera but can we compare it with the likes of Realme 3 and Redmi Note 7 because it has been priced at that range.
Opinion
If you want a device with a fine performance and for basic usage, multi-tasking you can go for it but if you are a gaming enthusiast, then this device is not built for you. Go for the Redmi Note 7 or Realme 3 if you want a device under 10k with good gaming performance.
