Today Narendra Modi addressed a function called “Pariksha par Charcha”. It was a brilliant initiative. “Pariksha par Charcha” addressed a key issue often ignored in the Indian society. The issue was the issue faced by all those who are preparing for various exams.
“Pariksha par Charcha” started out with meaningful cultural programme. It, however, went on to become what can be described as a really nice discussion. The function saw the participation of students of all age and teachers from across the length and breadth of the country. Modi started it if with one of his great speeches. Then progressed to take questions from the audience present as well as those connected via digital technology.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the key issue and questions regarding stress due to exams with the skill of a master speaker. He not only comforted all those troubled by the wires of exams but also inspired them to keep trying harder. He laid stress on the impatience of exams. On how it is important to polish a person’s character. He then also went on to stress how important it is to realise that any exam is not that important. No academic exam can become an “exam of life” in the Prime Minister’s words. He greatly emphasized how we cannot possibly worry about a single exam.
However, the leader had children in fits of laughter when he taught them how to deal with parents. He was talking about how to deal with parents who are too worried and hence increasing the stress. It is safe to say that the children liked his ideas.
Narendra Modi also addressed the parents via “Pariksha par Charcha”. He told them how they never felt bad when their children failed several times while learning to walk. He wondered why they worry so much once the children grow up and become more capable of finding their way. He urged then not to burden their children with their ambitions. The Prime Minister asked them to be their support system so that they are always at ease.
When speaking on “Pariksha par Charcha”, he also laid stress on the importance of ambition. It was overall the continuation of a great initiative. Narendra Modi handled it really well and said some things that the country can really benefit from.
