Xiaomi have launched their Xiaomi Mi 9 in China. The smartphone brings the new Qualcomm flagship processor to the market. It might also be the first available smartphone with Snapdragon 855. Here are the full specifications of the device.
Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 9 comes with a 6.39 inch OLED Display. It comes with a U notch. It has Snapdragon 855 processor and runs on Android Pie 9.0. The device comes in two Ram variants: 6 Gb and 8Gb Ram.
It has an in display fingerprint sensor along with front face unlock. In the camera department the device has 48 + 16 + 12 Megapixels triple rear cameras. It also features a 20 Megapixels front facing camera. The camera sensors are from Sony and are absolutely latest.
It has a 3300 Mah non removable battery which can be quick charged at 27W fast charging. It features all necessary sensors that a phone requires including Gyroscope.
Price
The price of the 6Gb variant is approx Rs 32,000 which is cheap compared to Samsung who have just released the S10 series starting at 55000Rs for the base variant.
Launch Date
No official Indian Launch date ha seen set for the device. It is not even sure if the phone will arrive in India or not.
Opinion
In terms of looks it seems Samsung have beaten Xiaomi but with performance and Camera qualities almost similar between the two, it can be said that Xiaomi have done a really great job at a really low price.
Whenever the phone makes available, if you want a flagship device then go for it without a doubt.
