Fandoms of fictional stories often see a divide when it comes to characters they love or hate. The world is not binary and filled with shades of grey and hence everyone makes sense. However, there are some characters that everyone hates. Yes there always exists a character in a fictional series that a huge majority hates. To their credit these characters exist to add that extra dimension to the story, however, no one can find a single reason to like them.
Here we bring to you a list of characters that everyone hates:
- Joffrey Baratheon– Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones is one character that is bound to be at the top of the list of characters that everyone hates. He is a sadistic, spoilt, entitled brat and saying so to describe him will be a gross understatement. He tortures and kills for pleasure, has no end game, no particular skill to speak of and is a selfish murderous creature. There had never existed a character that has inspired such an unanimous amount of hatred. Joffrey Baratheon had no redeeming quality that usually a villain has. Things are so bad that the actor Jack Gleeson who used to play his part would get hate messages and had decided to take a hiatus from acting.
- Dolores Umbrige– Harry Potter series is an integral part of childhood for most people and Dolores Umbrige in her all pink outfits and smug look is one person who attempted to spoil it all. She literally represented everything that is wrong with the existing education system and made our blood boil and skin curl with her voice and her actions. She is one of the characters everyone hates and why not, she represented everything that shattered out innocence and made is aware of the evil in the world. Plus she tried to get Dumbledore out and insulted Professor McGonagall. That is an unforgivable offence and no one is in the mood to try and understand her characters story. EVER. We hate her. Period.
- Bella Swann– Agreed she might not be as unanimously hated as the other two in the list but anyone with an iota of common sense does hate her making her feature in the list of characters everyone hates. What does Bella Sean wants to do in life? What is her story? She had no ambitions, no worries about her career and all she wants to do or does is marry her boyfriend as soon as she finishes high school and becomes a vampire. She has no regards for her family or friends or anyone who loves her, she is a selfish prick who is a against everything that feminism stands for. Plus she is self centered. Plus she is portrayed by an actress who can’t act.
