The Big Bang Theory is undoubtedly the most famous sitcoms in the current world. It is a comedy show portraying the lives of 2 scientists whose life changed when a beautiful Girl named Penny moved across from their flat. It is the most interesting science show you will ever be able to watch. The show began in 2007 and is still running with its last season currently in the process. Well, the show has created a World record and the viewers of the sitcom would be really happy and proud to know about it.
The Big Bang Theory have made a history as being the longest running T.V. Sitcom. With Episodes 276, the CBS Comedy is now officially the longest-running American multi-camera sitcom. It has broken the record of another American sitcom titled Cheers which previously held the record with 275 episodes.

Celebrating this fact, Kunal Nayyar who plays Rajesh Koothrapali on the show shared the scipt of Big Bang Theory with a heartfelt caption.
He wrote “And there you have it… this script officially makes us the longest running sitcom in the history of television, just surpassing the show “Cheers.” SO cheers to that. Well, this certainly is a blissful moment for the creators of The Big Bang Theory. The Season 12 will be the last one there will be and there are still 7 episodes left to be released. The show in its 12 year long run has won 52 Emmy Nominations and 10 wins.
