Samsung smartphones have been the joke of the town since Xiaomi and Realme came in India. Only Samsung’s flagship devices were good, the budget ranged devices did not have good specifications and were not liked by the customers. Thus, to face the competition Samsung is coming up with a new budget series smartphones which will be the Samsung M series. Here’s what the specifications might be as per the hints given.
Samsung M series: Will this be Samsung’s return
Specifications

The devices are said to have a 6.3 inch full Hd+ display with a waterfall notch. There will be 3 devices known as M10, M20 and M30. The devices have been teased to have infinity displays and qualcomm processors. The M10 would have the Snapdragon 636, the M20 will have the Snapdragon 660 and the M30 will have the snapdragon 675. Either this or Samsung would go with its own Exynos processor. Nothing is confirmed right now.

The confirmed thing is that all devices will have fast charging support and it might be the qualcomm quick charge 3.0. The devices will have a big 5000 Mah battery which is really huge. There will be a type C port for better charging performance. The looks will be like Realme devices as per tease, more clearly like Realme U1. The devices will have the Samsung UI and Android 8.1 oreo installed within.
Price
The price of the series is said to be pretty attractive and aggressive. The M series will start from 10,000Rs and go on to Rs 20,000. If reports are true the phones will have 3Gb Ram and 32Gb storage for the M10, 4Gb Ram and 64Gb storage for the M20 and 6Gb Ram and 128Gb storage for the M30.
Opinion
The good thing is that Samsung is really trying here for the first time in 2 years to compete with brands like Xiaomi and Realme. This is a great thing as we don’t usually see Samsung focusing on its budget devices. The M series certainly will be a hit and Samsung will definitely regain the market it has lost in the past few years.
