Samsung has launched an entry-level smartphone in India named Samsung Galaxy A2 Core. The device will be Samsung’s reply to the Xiaomi Redmi Go device. Both devices seem to have really similar specs. Stay with us and we’ll tell you all there is to know about the Samsung Galaxy A2 Core device.
Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core comes with a 5.0-inch HD+ display which is a TFT display. It features 1 Gb Ram and 16 Gb storage space. It is powered by an Octa-Core Processor of Samsung which is the Exynos 7884. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and has the Samsung UI.
In the camera department, it has a rear camera of 5 Megapixel and a front facing camera of 5 Megapixel too. It also has a 2600 Mah battery which can be charged with a 5W 0.7A charger. This is all that the device provides for us.
Price
The price of the device is Rs 5,290 which seems just a bit high seeing that a 2 Gb Ram device namely Redmi 6A is available for purchase at Rs 5,999. Well, we can’t do anything about it as its Samsung’s decision.
Similar to it Redmi Go also has a 5-inch display and a Snapdragon 425 processor which is Quad-core seemingly giving Samsung a small benefit.
However, even after unfair pricing, we saw Redmi Go being purchased by a lot of people so we can think that Samsung must have had created the device with that in mind.
Opinion
Our opinion is that the A series by Samsung has far better devices than this one. If you can add a small amount of money, fo with the Samsung A10 or the Realme C1, Realme 3 or the Redmi 6 device.
