Reliance at its 42nd General Annual Meeting revealed the Reliance JioFiber. Earlier the service was known as Jio Giga Fiber but Reliance seems to have re-named that. Mukesh Ambani in the meeting revealed several aspects of the Jio Giga Fiber. In this article, we will tell you when the JioFiber will officially launch and how users can get free 4K TV upon the launch.
Features of JioFiber
A ton of features was announced by Mukesh Ambani and his children. Some of them were already spread among the public thanks to leaks while some were totally new. Here is a list of features which will absolutely blow your mind:

Free 4K LED TV and Set-Top Box
The Reliance JioFiber subscribers will get free 4K LED TV and a set-top box completely free of cost. This will be a welcome offer for customers to buy the JioFiber WiFi. There is no news if these will be absolutely free or not. Jio might charge a security fee for its free products.
(2) Plans starting Rs 700
In his speech, Mukesh Ambani explained that average internet speeds in the US are 90 Mbps. The base plan for Reliance JioFiber starts with 100 Mbps speed and will cost Rs 700 per month. This is 1/10th of what is charged globally. The plans will range between the price of Rs 700-10,000.
(3) Free Landline
Remember having landline phones in your houses. Most of these have become deserted due to the presence of smartphones and less expensive recharge plans for calling. Reliance Jio Fiber will bring with it, free landline service to your house.
(4) First Day First Show Movies
Reliance just dropped a huge bombshell which will change the way we watch movies. Anyone having a Reliance JioFiber connection will be able to watch a movie on the first day of its launch from his/her home. This service will become commercial in September 2020.
(5) Other features
Other features which come bundled in JioFiber are VR Content, Multiparty Video Conferencing for free, Voice-enabled Virtual Assistants, Interactive Gaming, Home Security and Smart Home Solutions for Home Broadband customers.
When will it officially launch?
As per Mukesh Ambani, the plans for JioFiber will reveal themselves on the My Jio App and the Jio website. It will happen on the 5th of September. Till then, everyone has to live in suspense.
