Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro in India in a launch event held on 17th July. The launch event is just formality as the devices have earlier been launched in China. Only the prices between Indian and Chinese variants vary a lot. Let’s begin with specifications of Redmi K20.
Redmi K20 Specifications
The Redmi K20 features a 6.39 inch FHD+ AMOLED Horizon display. The display supports HDR for Netflix, youtube and Pubg Mobile. It comes with Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor built at 8nm. The device runs on Android 9 Pie and MIUI 10. It is available in two Ram variants: 6 Gb + 64 Gb and 6 Gb + 128 Gb. The K20 has a 7th gen-in-display fingerprint sensor and a pop-up selfie camera which carries out front face unlock sensor. In the camera department, there is a triple rear camera setup of 48 M.P. Sony IMX 586 + 13 M.P. Ultra-wide angles lens and an 8 M.P. telephoto lens. At its front is a 20 M.P. motorized pop-up selfie camera. It has a full metallic premium-looking body. The battery is of 4000 Mah which can be fast-charged with a 27W charger. However, there is just an 18W fast charger within the box. Xiaomi did not compromise even with the sensors as you will find all of them within the 6.39-inch display.

Redmi K20 Pro
The Redmi K20 Pro is an exact copy of Redmi K20. Both have similar features except for two. The Redmi K20 Pro comes with Snapdragon 855 processor while Redmi K20 has Snapdragon 730. The K20 Pro comes in two Ram variants: 8 Gb + 256 Gb and 6 Gb + 128 Gb.
The pricing of Redmi K20 Pro is as follows:
6 Gb + 128 Gb = Rs 27,999
8 Gb + 128 Gb = Rs 30,999
Availability
Xiaomi has decided to go with some other method instead of the flash sale. So, as Manu Kumar said, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will be available starting 17th July, 8 P.M. onwards.
The price of both devices is higher than their prices in China. Xiaomi cleverly defends this by saying that some of the components had to be imported and taxes were to be paid resulting in such.
