Realme has been doing some really great work in India. It recently launched its first smartphone in China named Realme X. They also announced releasing a smartphone with a 5G modem by the end of 2019. Yesterday, Realme’s CEO Madhav Seth reported that Realme will become the first company to launch a 64 Megapixel Camera Smartphone.
Madhav Seth is very active on Twitter. He even changed his name to Madhav 5G to let everyone know of Realme’s plans to launch a 5G device soon. He said that Realme is working on a device which will fit in the 64 M.P. Samsung’s ISOCELL GW1 sensor. The chipset has Pixel-Merging Tetra cell Technology and remosaic algorithm. It will also have real-time HDR support.
The GW1 sensor will allow the sensor to shoot ultra-high pixel images with a resolution of 6912X9216 pixels. Along with the 64 Megapixel Camera Smartphone detail he mentioned that the device will be launched in China in the 2nd quarter of 2019. He shared a picture which features buildings and upon zooming on the image we can see that the image doesn’t get at all blurry.
All the details can be seen in the image. Well, one can just wonder which smartphone will feature such a powerful sensor. It might be the Realme 4 Pro as rumors have surfaced. One more interesting thing about the 64 Megapixel Camera Smartphone is that Xiaomi too is working on one.
In a post, they mentioned that Xiaomi will be the first company to come up with a smartphone having a 64 M.P. camera in it. Now, it seems like it will be Realme who will provide us with the phone. With the smartphone launching in China in the 2nd quarter, does it mean Realme is planning to launch the smartphone first in India?
