The child was lucky to escape the mattress on which the phone was burning. This has not been the first Samsung device to explode. When you stay under a very hot sun for a long period of time you feel that your skin is pretty warm and is like on fire. A similar case is with smartphones. You should never ever charge a smartphone under any direct sunlight and never put your smartphone under direct sunlight in any case.
