Smartphone from catching fire

A case has come forward in which a Samsung Tablet of an 11-year old kid in Staffordshire, UK, got overheated while charging and exploded. The child was lucky to escape the mattress on which the phone was burning. This has not been the first Samsung device to explode. If you keep up to date with tech news, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was called back due to a technical problem which led the device to explode while charging. Not all devices are like that. While there are no sure ways to avoid smartphones from catching fire, follow these tips to try and prevent such an incident. In this article, we will give you tips to prevent your Smartphone from catching fire.

(1) Do not use third-party chargers or USB Cables

All the third Party chargers and cables are not suitable for your smartphone. A charger is built for a particular smartphone on the basis of heat the smartphone can handle. If you use a fast charger of another company on your smartphone there is a high chance your smartphone battery will heat up and explode. Whatever is the case, buy a new charger of the same company of which your phone belongs to.

(2) Do not Overcharge battery overnight

There are a ton of users in India who like to put their smartphone under charge at night and will wake up to find it at 100% and hot like an iron. If you continue with this practice for like a month, you are just making sure that your phone will explode. The first indication will be the fattening battery. Charging your phone more than needed, weakens the battery which will just lead to an incident like that of Samsung Tablet.

(3) Choose battery of your Manufacturer

There are incidents when your smartphone battery gets exhausted and needs to be replaced. Many people go for the fake batteries as they are less expensive. Do not go for that. Choose only the manufacturer produced batteries for your device or change the device if you think the battery is too costly.

(4) Never Keep your Smartphone under Direct Sunlight

When you stay under a very hot sun for a long period of time you feel that your skin is pretty warm and is like on fire. A similar case is with smartphones. You should never ever charge a smartphone under any direct sunlight and never put your smartphone under direct sunlight in any case.

Well, these were some small tricks which will definitely prevent your Smartphone from catching fire. Hope you liked it.
