Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Abhiyaan, popularly known as Ayushman Bharat or National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM). - Beneficiaries can use their registered mobile number as their user ID number.
- The only individual, having registered under Socio-Economic Caste Census 2011, are eligible to get the benefits.
- Individuals with valid Aadhar card can be eligible to get the benefits.
- Also, a maximum of five members of the eligible family can get the benefit of insurance coverage.

This scheme will cover almost 10.74 families of the marginalized section, means a total sum of 50 crore Indian citizens. So, It will encourage public-private partnership to ensure the access of quality medicines to the masses. Rana Mehta said it would create a cost-effective digitized health economy and benefits to geographic inaccessible and unaffordable poor people. At last, Tertiary healthcare-centre will be pressurized to reduce the cost to offer substandard health services to people under this scheme.
