Prime minister Narendra Modi during a rally in Varanasi launches the project with transaction worth rupees 557 crores. Modi said new Kashi new India though he wants to make the town into a smart city. But the main concern by not disturbing the culture and tradition of the towns. While addressing a rally at BHU he said, it is my duty to give an account of my work as your MP. You are my high command, you are my master and I am our sevak.

Modi also operated projects including Integrated power development scheme old Kashi and Atal Incubation centre at BHU. He also laid the formation stone of various project including the regional Opthalmology centre and centre for Vedic science at BHU. He was also talking about the preservation of our tradition of the Temple town and to conserve its rich history and culture. It is being ensured that sewage waste does not enter the river and clean up Ganga from Gangotri to Gangasagar. There are currently 200 projects worth rupees 20,000 crores are running to clean Ganga. Even the central was making efforts to develop Varanasi as the gateway of east India.
Kashi a new hope for Development
Governments are trying to make the city with world-class transportation, education and medical facilities, road projects. Alluding to the pictures of medical, Kashi was started emerging as a health hub. BHU has signed in MOu with AIIMS to develop a world-class health institute. The centre has received 80 startups and 20 others were already assigned. Coming to the cooking gas is being supplied through the pipeline in 40,000 houses in Varanasi. These pipelines are also being taken in care for better utilization from Allahabad to Varanasi with proper checkers. The government of India focusing more on the foreign policy strenghtening so that easily funding can be allocated to the particular statewise development.
