In science fiction movies, cartoons and other fictional series, we have seen Abonimable Snowmen who are really big and scary. It might be fun to watch all of it because we all know that in the real world there is no such creature. But some proofs have come along as to the existence of Yeti or an Abominable Snowman who is known for his big body. Recently, an Indian Mountaineering Expedition Army Team came across to footprints which were really big in length. They measured 32X15 inches. In this article, we will be telling you all there is to know about Yeti and if it exists or not.
Indian Army on Tuesday claimed that one of its team had spotted Yeti-like footprints close to Nepal’s Makalu Base Camp. A tweet was also made from their side. It said
“For the first time, an Indian Army Mountaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of Mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32X15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 9th April 2019. This elusive Snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past,”
The photographers claimed that they kept and studied the photo closely for over 10 days and then decided that they matched earlier theories about the Abominable Snowman and then handed them over to subject matter experts for scientific evaluation.
You might be thrilled to know that the hunt for the mythical beast has been stretching over centuries, tales of a wild hairy beast roaming the Himalayas captured the imagination of climbers in Nepal in the 1920s, prompting many, including Sir Edmund Hillary, to go looking for the creature.
In the 1950s, a British explorer Eric Shipton sighted a series of abnormal footprints while he was looking for an alternate route to climb Mount Everest. Shipton’s finding intensified the interest of the world in this creature.
While many might say that it is a creature named Abominable Snowman or Yeti, we also know about a really big person who might be behind this: Ashwatthamma, a warrior from the times of Mahabharata who was cursed with immortality by Lord Krishna.
