India Vs Australia 4th Test Day 2
India Vs Australia 4th Test Day 2 – Tim Payne had argued that without Steve Smith and David Warner their team is bad. But ain’t both of them batsmen. Then why is australian bowling attack getting affected by the absence of the 2 lengends. Well, it seemed like India was playing against a really immature team. The Australian in the beginning of the day succeeded in getting Hanuma Vihari out at a score of 42 runs. Then, Rishab Pant came down at the crease and took all the excitement of Aussie bowlers away. Rishabh Pant scored a record 159 runs not out in the 1st innings. In his innings he hit 15 fours and 1 six. Pujara hit 193 runs before losing his wicket to the hands of Lyon.
Still, Jadeja came down and made a solid partnership with Pant. He scored 81 runs before losing his wicket to Lyon after which captain Kohli thought that the score was more than enough for this Australian side and declared the innings. Rishabh pant might have been a little sad on not getting a chance to complete his double century.
India Vs Australia 4th Test Day 2 – From the Australian bowling attack it seemed like Lyon was the only one who was able to supress the Indian batsmen. He took 4 wickets while Hazelwood got 2 and Starc got 1.
India had scored 622 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Australian batsmen khwaja and Harris came down to bat and have managed to score 25 runs at the end of 10 overs and the end of day 2 of this solid test match.
It certainly seems like australia is missing its legend players and without them would soon loose their standards that Ricky Ponting had made.
