Google launched the Google Stadia, their new cloud gaming platform at GDC 2019. It is a multi-platform cloud based gaming platform for entry based laptops, Google chrome cast, smartphones, tablets etc. In this article we are going to tell you all there is to know about Google Stadia.
The Google Stadia is built on Linux and uses Vulkan API. It does all the rendering from a remote location and has the following specifications.
- 16 Gb Ram
- GPU with 10.7 Teraflops of Performance
- Upto 484 GBPS transfer speed
- AMD 2.7ghz x86 processor
The cloud based gaming platform supports gaming in 4k at 1080, 4k at 30 fps, 4k at 60 fps and much more. The interesting thing about Stadia is that your gaming experience does not matter upon your laptop or smartphone. It depends upon your internet speed. This makes it really good as it is difficult to run games like COD and Pubg in Intel i3 laptops and Pc’s but after the incoming of Google Stadia, processor won’t be a problem.
Google has officially confirmed that 8K gaming is coming to Stadia in the near future. Doom Eternal and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be the first set of games that will be available from Day Zero.
Stadia Controller

Along with Stadia Google have also launched their Stadia controller which is like every other controller but with a refreshed design.
Stadia Controller is a custom-made controlled, designed and developed by Google, which connects directly to a Wi-Fi network for a seamless gaming experience. The controller has a screenshot button and a dedicated Google assistant button, which can be used to take in-game screenshots and to ask some queries related to games and other standard stuff.
Do note that, Stadia will work well with other standard gaming controllers, mouse, and keyboard as well, but the Stadia Controller will offer the best experience.
Price and Availability
Till now there has been no information about the pricing of the google Stadia. It might charge based on per month or a full package and much more. Google have said that the cloud platform will be made available within 2019 and there are still 9 months left thus prepare to be excited.
