Google Pixel 3A, 3A XL launched: Best Mid-Range Budget devices?

Google has launched the Google Pixel 3A, 3A XL at Google I/O 2019. They call it the mid-range devices or the Budget Ranged Google Pixel. Scroll through the article and you will find out that the devices are far from the budget range and fall in the medium range category. So, let’s begin.

Google Pixel 3A

The Google Pixel 3A features a 5.6-inches screen without any notch. It comes loaded with stock android and features Android Pie 9.0. It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 Processor. It has 4 Gb Ram and 64 Gb storage space. The device comes with the headphone jack and has really great cameras.

Although it has just a single rear camera, it outperforms all other dual rear cameras at its price range. It has a 12.2 M.P. camera which is a Sony IMX 363 lens and an 8 Megapixel Front-facing Camera.

The device is available in 3 colors: Just Black, Purplish and Clearly White. It has a 3000 Mah battery with an 18W fast-charger within the box.

The device is priced at Rs 35,000 in India.

Google Pixel 3A XL

The Google Pixel 3A XL has a 6.0-inch Full HD+ screen without any notch. It also has the pure stock Android experience, comes with Android 9.0 Pie and has the Snapdragon 670 chipset. The Chipset features Adreno 615 GPU which is really good for gaming.

It can be said as a successor to the Snapdragon 660 while being a predecessor to Snapdragon 675.

The device has similar specs as to that of Google Pixel 3A in terms of camera, 18W fast charging and the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has 4 Gb Ram and 64 Gb storage space and has a 3700 Mah battery.

It is priced at Rs 45,000 in India while it costs Rs 33,000 in America. Isn’t the price difference a little unfair?

Opinion

Taking in the specs of both devices it can be clearly said that they just enjoy the name of Pixel, else they are 2 highly over-rated phones with under-rated processors priced really high. In my opinion, go for the Google Pixel 2 instead of going for any of these. Even the Realme 3 Pro is a better choice than these devices.
