The new trailer for Gemini Man is out. It is an action-thriller starring Will Smith. Ang Lee, the visionary director is the helmsman of the movie. The movie revolves around an elite assassin who is forced to go on the run. Another young assassin is pursuing him and that young operative seems to know his every move. The trailer tells us that this younger assassin is actually the clone of our protagonist. He is being trained to kill him for some unknown reason.
The Gemini Man trailer also hints that this assassination plot has been instigated by the government of his own country. So, not only is our protagonist on the kill list of another master assassin, but he is also being targeted by his country. The story of revenge, betrayal and retribution is quite action-packed as well. We also see a different angle being taken among assassins. That is because one is trying to kill the other while the other is trying to save him from a life of murder and regrets.

The trailer is shot beautifully. I really appreciate the callback to the first frame of the trailer at the end. The repetition of the dialogues allowed a good hammering in. The acting was good. Will Smith is definitely a great actor. Now, that said, the premise is quite interesting. But the trailer did not give me appropriate details on its execution. It was more focused on the action, which was really awesome and innovative and clearly is not a revolutionary work of art.
