CBSE Class XII Results have been declared pretty early which come off as a surprise because CBSE often delays these results. In 2016 we saw that the results were declared in June, so it’s pretty surprising that results have been announced so early. While Pubg was in trend this year, many believed that the results will be troubling and many will fail. We saw a rising trend of children passing in the 12th Board Exams. 16 Lakh gave the board exams and a total of 83.4% have passed which is better than last year’s 83.01%. Two girls are the joint toppers of the CBSE Class 12 examination, the results of which were declared this afternoon. Around 13 lakh students appeared for the mega exam which began on February 16. Girls have outperformed boys this year too with three girls students clinching the second rank as well.
Hansika Shukla from Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora from Muzaffarnagar have topped the board exams this year by scoring 499/500. You can check the results live by clicking on this link
It seems that CBSE has made improvements to their servers this year because the link is opening pretty perfectly.
Three students share the second rank with a score of 498 out of 500: Gaurangi Chawala from Rishikesh, Aishwarya from Raebareli and Bhavya from Haryana’s Jind.
Neeraj Jindal and Mehak Talwar from Delhi are among 18 students to rank third in the exam.
“Congratulations to 10 lakh students who have succeeded in 12th CBSE board examinations and best of luck for those who couldn’t make this time but will make it in next attempt,” Union Education Minister tweeted.
The Top performing regions are Thiruvanantpuram with 98.2 % pass percentage, Chennai with 92.3 % and New Delhi with 91.87%.
The results were declared just 28 days after the last exam. This year exams were also held earlier than last year too. A total of 17,693 students have scored more than 95% marks.
Well, congrats to everyone who have gotten good marks and those who were not able to get good marks need not feel bad as a few sheets of paper can’t determine someone’s future.
