Captain Marvel is the final movie before we witness the most awaited movie of the year: Avengers Endgame. It was released this Friday and the movie being a Marvel film is doing great at the box office and has already collected 78 million in just 1 Day. But is the movie fully worth your time. Stay with us and we will tell you.
First Half
The first half of Captain Marvel is boring. It catches up to the story of Carol Denvers who is currently known as Vers. She doesn’t know who her true allies are and kills all skrulls she witness.
Still, if we compare the first half of this movie to those of other Marvel movies like Infinity War, Captain America it certainly has a really bad first half. The people who had come to see the movie straight after the interval said “Bekar”
Second Half
The second half obviously being better than the first half is also just ok considering this a Marvel movie. Actually its not the movie’s fault. Its just that our expectations from Marvel Studios and Captain Marvel were pretty high after Infinity War last year.
The second half, rejoices Captain Marvel’s full powers. She now becomes the True Captain Marvel who is the most powerful Avenger there is!
She becomes a lady on a mission and some dialogues in the Second Half really are fan favourites. We can also say that the movie lacks the presence of a Villain. We know that Ronin will die in Guardians of the Galaxy thus there was no reason as to why he was the villain in this movie.
He ran away like a coward runs from Captain Marvel.
Performance
Brie Larrson’s portrayal of Captain Marvel is the only thing which saves the movie. She instantly makes us fall in love with her confident character and acting. Her laugh is pretty infective. Be wary!
Also, Nick Fury was great in the movie. He was the funniest we have ever seen him. P.S. He has a big role in the movie!
Overall
Overall if we were to rate Captain Marvel on a scale of 10, we would give it 7 stars.
