Now veteran actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha commented on this movement on Wednesday. Shatrughan Sinha said, “Today is the time of #MeToo and there should be no shame or hesitation in saying that there is a woman behind the failure of a successful man. He said that I see that most women are behind the troubles and slanders of successful men.

Shatrughan further said, ‘I really feel lucky to have done that in the present time, despite all the rituals (everything that I have done) my name has not come in the #MeToo movement. That’s why I listen to my wife and often take her as her strength everywhere. She is in the form of a shield with me, even if nothing happens, I can show, ‘I am happy in my married life, my life is good.’
Sinha said that his wife, Poonam, is a ‘Goddess’ and ‘everything’ is for him. He also clarified that he was not making fun of #MeToo movement and his comments should be taken in the ‘right direction’.
