Recently, the trailer of Batti Gul Meter Chalu has released and has gained appreciation from the audience as well. The subject of the movie is clear from the trailer itself. The flick is talking about the electricity, powercut, and electricity theft problems that is one of the major troubles existing in India. The interesting part is the accent that is adopted y the characters in the film. Looks like Shahid Kapoor has completely drenched himself in the atmospherics and in the aura where the movie is set. Shraddha Kapoor looks charming as a girl from a small town who is fiery with the energy full of youthful innocence.

The second part of the trailer reveals the dark side of the corrupted electricity board officials. Here, the movie changes from quirky to serious one of the close friends of the lead character commit suicide. We also see the glimpses of the courtroom that clearly hints that this movie, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is going to be a courtroom drama for some time.

The second time pairing of Shraddha Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor has lots of expectations and we hope the movie brings something fruitful.
