On Sunday we witnessed the WWE Summer Slam 2019. It was one of the best events by WWE this year including the Wrestle Mania. In this article, we will tell you about the Top 5 moments from Summer Slam 2019.
(1) The Fiend’s Debut Match
Bray Wyatt has been off-screen from WWE for a long time. The writers had tried him as a heel, as a face but nothing worked till now. Bray Wyatt, on one Raw, came in the avatar of The Fiend. Since then, he has been really praised by the audience. The entrance of the Fiend in Summerslam 2019 was one to notice. Bray Wyatt’s face lamp was an absolutely brilliant idea. How Fin Balor, a top of the class wrestler got scared of The Fiend brought back the memories of how Bray Wyatt used to be. It was one hell of a match ending with Bray Wyatt defeating Finn Balor.
(2) Becky Lynch defeats Natalya
The women’s roster has been on fire pretty recently. One of the main reason for that is Becky Lynch-A.K.A The Man. The first match on Summer Slam 2019 was one of the best ones of the night. Both Natalya and Becky gave their everything.
(3) Seth Rollins defeats Brock Lesnar
Seth Rollins fighting Lesnar after what happened on Raw was a great thing. However, no one could have thought that Rollins will go on to beat Lesnar very fairly without any false moves. However, this match made Lesnar look really weak because Seth Rollins was really beaten up and had some sore ribs. The title exchange was certainly the highlight of the show.
(4) Goldberg triple spears Ziggler
People don’t get up after they get one spear from Goldberg. However, Dolph was in some crazy mood in Summer Slam. After getting defeated by Goldberg, he asked him to spear him again if he was a man. This led to Goldberg spearing Ziggler two more times till Dolph just lay there unmoving on the mat. The spears were really brutal almost ripping off Dolph into half.
(5) Kofi turns heel
The weirdest thing of Summer Slam 2019 was when Kofi started madly beating Randy Orton till both of them got disqualified via a countdown. It seems that WWE is now trying to see Kofi as a heel but will it work?
