There are three leading chipset producing companies in the world: Apple, Snapdragon, and Mediatek. Apple and Snapdragon have been working hard to produce 5G Chipsets that support the 5G network upon its launch. Mediatek themselves aren’t very far behind. Their latest production, the Mediatek Dimensity 1000 Chipset has set a benchmark higher than companies like Apple. Mediatek Dimensity 1000 Chipset
On paper, this Mediatek Chipset comes with an integrated 5G modem, 4x ARM Cortex-A77, and the Mali-G77 GPU. The benchmark results of this Chinese chipset are a massive 5,11,363. Breaking down the scores, it managed 161,266 in the CPU department, and 196,097 in the GPU department. Other than that we have 84,463 for the memory portion and 69,537 on the UX test. The GPU helps running games and videos fluently without any lags. The CPU score of the latest Mediatek Chipset is the highest one, ever seen in AnTuTu’s history.
This result is higher than Snapdragon’s best chipset ever: Snapdragon 855+. Moreover, the best chipset in the world, Apple’s A13 Bionic Chip falls short in power in comparison with the Mediatek Chipset.
The Most Powerful Chipset Ever
A few years back, Mediatek chipsets were considered really bad for use. Smartphone companies using Mediatek processors did not see a rise in sales. However, the Helio ‘P’ series changed the scenario for the Mediatek Company. Realme used it in their first-ever device and reach huge heights with the P60 processor. The recently launched Redmi Note 8 Pro featuring Helio G90 out-performed Snapdragon 845 in terms of GPU and CPU.
