It is not the freshly minted matter that Bollywood industry is witnessing chaos before the release of the flick. From Padmavat to PK, there have been so many that have landed into troubled waters before or after hitting the theatres. This is exactly what is happening with Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film ZERO. General Secretary Of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara has expressed some dissatisfaction regarding the movie ZERO. This committee has actually filed a complaint against the actor Shahrukh Khan and director Anand L Rai, saying that the sentiments of the Sikh community have been hurt.
The reason for this is the actor in the poster and in the trailer of the movie is seen carrying a sword that is called ‘Kirpan’. The kirpan is a sword that is an emblem of the Sikh community. Therefore, the committee’s authorities have demanded that the trailer and the poster of the movie ZERO should be removed at an immediate effect.
As soon as this news reached the publicists, they swung into action and immediately put out a statement which elucidated that they did not mean to hurt sentiments of any community or race. They also clarified that the sword which is used as a prop in SRK’s hand in the movie ZERO. However, the committee is still expecting an apology from the actor himself! Well, it is not only the movie Zero that is facing problems right now. Sarah Ali Khan’s debut Kedarnath is also in quagmire. The priest from the shrine town of Kedarnath has demanded a complete ban on the film. Reason behind this is that Hindus of a particular area are finding the teaser absurd as this is clearly showing the promotion of ‘love jihaad[. This is what the priest of the shrine has openly said. No one knows what is the fate of this movie is going to be in near future!
